Chains, links. An abbreviation of “tours chaînés déboulés”: a series of rapid turns on the points or demi-pointes done in a straight line or in a circle. The French School calls the same movement Déboulés — “rollings like a ball” — a series of demi-tours executed alternately on each foot and travelling forward in a single direction, the feet held very close together in the first position.
